Another strange and rare item.

Not really a big import collector, but this one grabbed my attention. This came from the collection of Bobby Banks, the photographer of the STARS! Thanks to Bobby, as his collection of Manilow items is awesome! The songs from Tribute that Barry sings are some of my favorites!

What's the point of all this??

Well, just how many Manilow collectors are there out there?? Well, if you bid on Ebay like I sometimes do, some of the rarest items do find competition, so we do exist. Rare singles can reach upwards of 120.00 bucks and who would have thought 45's would be so collectible today?? I find the reel to reels to be strangest thing... I've never heard a reel to reel for real, I go as far back as 8-track...so I'm not really sure how long the reel to reels were produced, but there were plenty of them, I see them all the time on Ebay. Here is one from my collection.

How the record career began.

If you've wandered to this blog...welcome! With 80 million albums sold and nearly a 40 year career behind him, Manilow continues to this day as strong as ever! My intent with this blog is to catalog my collection of Manilow related items I've acquired over the years. No one person could have EVERYTHING Manilow, simply impossible, however you may find something new here, rare, or even surprising. Let me know what you think. :)
